Advice please-no AF but BFN on pregnancy test

Hi everyone,

Think im going insane ](*,) , bit of background on me...trying for my 4th child since jan 2004 with no luck. Had first IUI in november, with a break in december. Last month AF arrived on CD23 and this month i am now on CD 30, i think i ovulated early but cant be sure.

Anyway i have been having severe AF like cramps over the past 4-5 days, and only very mild tingly, sort of heavy sensations in my bb's. The only cm i have is a slight creamy texture (only when i wipe) sorry TMI. Anyway i am doing my head in cause i did a fortel hpt this morning, but only one line . so i assumed that i wasnt pregnant. But still no sign of af, but still bad cramps and very low energy level. In all previous pregnancies, all early hpt i did came up positive. I dont know what to think am sick of this damn vicious cycle....think i am going insane....ready to just through the whole thing in.

Would love some reassurance, just some honest opinions on whether i should still keep my hopes up, forget the whole thing, do another test, anything!!!!! 8-[

Hi Boyplz

i would leave it for another 2 days then if no AF test again.
If you are pregnant your bHCG could have been too low to be detected by the first test.

Like Alan has said, maybe wait a couple more days and re test then.

If you still haven't gotten AF and the hpt still comes up negative, I would go and see your dr and get a BT done.

Oh chin up sweetie....I didnt get a BFP till about a week after my AF was due....I knew/felt I was pg the day after I ovulated so all the BFN's I got until about 5 wks pg were driving me nuts. I hope you do get your BFP hon....TTC is not a very nice venture especially after a year! Good luck!

thanks guys, thought as much. Will wait till thursday, that will be 35 days, think i will just get bt, save money on those hpt's!

i just keep telling myself that im not, then i wont be so disappointed (in theory anyway) 8-[

Dont really feel pregnant, just getting very strong crampy pains. Is it ok to take panadol, cant really be sure cause i didnt really need it this early last time.
