I am waiting for miss AF to arrive and have just been pondering a little bit.
DH and I are using the withdrawal method atm and I have started charting again. This is my first month charting post pregnancy and it seems that we DTD on ovulation day. My cycles have been very long post pregnancy and this month is no exception. Interestingly I have had a small spotting eposidose on day 29 and now I am on day 32 and my temps have gone higher. I did a hpt on day 30 but it was negative.
DH is very certain that he withdrew in time.
I have no pregnancy symptoms so I am expecting AF to show any day.
My question has anyone had a oopsies whrn they thought they were safe?

Hey Bekz, I was on the pill not the mini pill but the proper one, on double doses because of how bad my periods were. So I use to just keep taking the pill to avoid af because they were so god awful. Wasn't feeling well one week so decided to go to the doctor.. and bingo 10 weeks pregnant.... lol.. lets just say the ride home with dp was a very very quiet one you could cut the tension with a knife
We were using withdrawal when DD1 was a baby. DD1 came along coz I was useless at taking the pill & we were both too lazy for other things.
We thought we were really careful, but at 8 weeks I did a test & got a bfp.
It was totally unexpected.
Weren't doing withdrawl though just thought I was too far away from Oing to get PG. The little swimmers lived for 4 days till I O'd.
Yes I know they can live for 5 but in all my TTCing it took long enough trying to catch the egg closer to O day so I just trusted that it wouldn't happen for me that far before.
I'm with Raven, must be how we got our little girls.
We normally use withdrawl or condoms, but this particular time my period had gone longer than normal, close to 14 days, well I'd had a period for a week then was spotting for the following one. We'd had a few drinks and thinking that I'd just finished Af thought it was safe time. Nope, obviously not. Swimmers stayed in there for the few extra days and so Abbey was conceived !!
