Disappointing BT results :(

I got my BFP on the 24th of May, and had a BT on Monday. I got my results today, and I'm really disappointed. I'm definitely pregnant, but my hcg levels haven't risen as much as they would have liked. So I had another BT done today, and am going in for an U/S tomorrow morning. Dr said it may be too early to see anything, but she wants to do one just to check. So I get the results of both on Friday afternoon.

I'm so disappointed. While we weren't really TTC, we weren't really trying to prevent it from happening either. And to find out I'm pregnant, get all excited and then get told it's looking like it wont be a viable pregnancy, is gutting. I'm praying so hard my hcg levels have risen like they should.

My level was 57. After more bloods on Wednesday (48hrs later), the results were 170. A bit more than the doctor wanted which is good, but she said it's still hard to tell if it's either a non-viable pregnancy or I'm very early on. I also had a U/S done Thursday, which was inconclusive as they couldnt see anything. They did say its possible I'm a lot earlier than the doctor thinks so its still microscopic size. But it didn't show anything in my tubes or any changes to them which the doctor was pleased with. So I doctor is going to "wait and see" how things go. I had more bloods taken on Friday, a last hcg test (I get the results tomorrow) and the other BT's they like to do for normal pregnancies. It was also recommended I go back in 3 weeks for another U/S to see how things are going. Soooo bit of a roller coaster at the moment lol. Would be nice to know if it is going to be a normal pregnancy or not, not all this stuffing around lol.

Shan well I am thinking of you, 57-170 is good.. there are some great sites out there that explain more about HCG... My fingers are crossed for you!!

I was told as long as the numbers were increasing then its a viable pregnancy.

You are probably just very early on.

try and stay positive and it doesnt matter if you werent trying its obvious you both want it and would be devastating if it wasnt to be.
