Question Anyone else felt like this?

I haven't seen Junior on an u/s since 18 weeks and I am having a scan today.

I'm really worried that "he" may now be a "she"?

Is this normal to feel like this? Im really scared....

Yes! My doctor with DD#2 had a scanner in her room and I kept making her check throughout the later part of the pg!

I know what you mean Danni.... but really once you see that they are healthy and all is well that feeling subsides a little.... I was like that if Jacob was a girl, really didnt want a girl for some reason.
Just remember that when he or she gets here that you are blessed to have this healthy little bundle in your arms
Just work through these feelings in your mind and heart and realise that they are not the most favourable of feelings for your own well being and the babies.

    Good luck darlin!!

Hi Danni, my last u/s was 20weeks and I was told it was a girl(99.9%) and I haven't had any other u/s since and I am due in 8 days.
I am worried that she is a he and has grown little boy bits since last scan lol.
I think it is normal to be worried especially when you have been told the sex beforehand as they can sometimes get it wrong thats why I am not setting my hopes on a girl just on having a healthy baby.

    All the best

Ha ha. I am having exactly the same worries Danni. I had a dream the other day that Ed popped out a boy and they put him on my chest and I kept telling them they'd given me the wrong baby because at the scan they told me Ed was a girl!!! You may ahve bought all blue and green, but I'm all pink and purple so we'd both be, well, buggered!! Maybe if Ed's a boy and Junior's a girl we can just swap!!!

ETA - Just thought I'd better clarify - I meant swap clothes/linen not babies!!!

Ok scan went well although Junior is huge! He is definitely breech and although we couldn't get a good look-- it "seems" to be still a boy...not convinced though!

I SO had the same thing happen with Coco. Although we had FOUR u/s , each time they said "we THINK it's a girl but can't be 100% sure", so I was not sure the entire time. I really wanted a "coco" so would've been upset if she'd comeout someone else, but I guess deep down I knew it was a girl the whole time anyway, had the same feeling with Tilly and didn't find out with her.
I would say it's definitely a boy for you Danni, generally they don't say maybe unless they're totally sure, because people these days sue! Good luck, not long to go!!! xoxo

Danni, totally normal!! With DS we were told at 22wks it was a boy, he was a flasher. I worried the whole time though! And when he was born (I am so embarrassed to admit this, and still laugh at myself...) the very first thing I said when he slid out was "is it still a boy???" LOL like I thought he would change?? not "is the baby ok?" or anything, I just wanted to know the sex!!! Don't worry, it will all be fine!!

Becstar thats exactly what I said with Riley!! Even though I'd seen ultrasound evidence of him with his legs spread I still had to double check after he was born LOL

Hahah Danni, I have been thinking the same thing lately. I would hate to have to buy all new clothes, well, no I wouldn't, I love shopping! I would hate to take home a Luella in blue clothes hehe. I don't get the luxury of another ultrasound to reassure me though so I am glad the penis was pretty large looking, so it can't be wrong, I hope...
