Baby Shower Present Ideas

One of my friends has offered to organise my baby shower for me (yay!), and I would like to put together a list of things that I need, so that she can offer suggestions to people. But I'm not really sure what I need!!! I'd love some help putting together a list of 'essential' stuff.

I wandered around Target to get ideas and made a list.

I've just put my list together and I've included things like
Singlets (all sizes)
baby lotions
nappy creams
baby powder
baby bath
nappy bucket
bottles
rattles/toys
bath towels
mattress protecter
muslin wraps(bub is due in November so don't need thick blankets to wrap)
cot sheets and blanket

Cot sheets are a big one, wipes wipes and more wipes, baby wash, nappies but not just new born get the next size up, bunny rugs, singlets.

A good idea is to get things in the next size up or even two (000- 00). My DD was only in 0000 for about two weeks. Also bonds clothing is usually quite small, so ask for bigger sizes.
What about things like a thermometre, nail clippers, towels, face washers....these were things I didn't think to buy for bubba.
Other bigger gifts that I really appreciated were memoribilia sort of things, like a baby/pregnancy memory book, a beautiful frame for those first photos of your pride and joy, a photo album started with photos of me through my pg, to add to when bubba was born...
