    Question Bain Maree Foods

I have this HUGE craving for these awesome casseroles from a little kebab shop that we have in Shepp - they have heaps of traditional casserole type things (mainlye all veggies and sauce) that are kept in a bain maree - if I get them and then heat them up in the micro will it be ok to eat them??

Just abit paraniod about what I can and cant eat!!

If the casseroles are fresh (not sitting there for hours and hours) and are above 60 degrees when you eat them, they should be okay. I would eat them if they fitted in to what I just said.

    Thanks Netix,

The casseroles are all made fresh and ppl around here love them so much that they go very fast! If I heat them in the micro will that be over 60 degrees??

Yep if they are fresh, I'd buy it & heat it up in the microwave, as long as it's piping hot you should be ok. I used to do it all the time with the little takeaway place near where I work.

It should all be hot enough, just make sure that you stir it well, so there are no cold spots. If you really want to make sure, use one of those meat or candy thermometers. But, as long as it is steaming, it will be okay.
I just did something really dumb (drank quinine which is bad), so I'm waiting to hear what everyone else says, if anything positive! I am not happy!

As long as you reheat it within 24 hours should be OK.
