I had some bleeding during my pregnancy at 9wks and thought it was all over b/c I had had a m/c which started the same way but with the m/c the bleeding just kept going and eventually got heavier and this time the bleeding actually stopped instead so I hope it is the same for you.

No bleeding is a great sign, when I had a blighted ovum once I started bleeding at about 9 weeks I didn't stop until I had passed everything.
I am praying so hard this baby is sticky!

Trillian, If I go in when Path opens (8.30am) they usually have the results by the end of the day or the following morning at the latest. so I should know by Friday whether my levels are increasing.
Its so tricky because if it is infact bighted ovum then this can also happen as the sac grows :rolleyes: its so tough being a woman all the things we go through.

just got back from Path - things never work out how you expect them too :lol: so I waited until today ensuring I got to see Pam and Pam had the week off :doh: anyway the Path nurse Narelle was lovely I felt sorry for her though. I did tell her I had bad veins and that soaking in hot water would be the best method.
She went for a vein about 3 inches below my elbow crease it hurt like buggery, she moved it a little deeper and I jumped because it hurt and we had to start again because we didn't get enough.
She tried a bit higher up 2 inches above the elbow crease and the vein collapsed then she tried the other arm on the elbow crease and wrist (ooowwweee) with no luck.
Then we soaked my hands in hot water and bingo got enough out of the left hand FINALLY.
So now I wait for the results and start my protest against AF she is due today and I always MC when AF is due

I feel so much like a stalker, I rang the medical centre 4 times yesterday waiting for my results but they weren't in yet. One of the nurses on duty told me they couldn't give me my results until the GP had signed off on them so I asked if my GP was in today. He is in theater until 3pm :doh: so I will have to wait.
I swear yesterday I was so certain AF was coming I had nasty cramping all day (no blood) so I was a bit panicked but as it turns out I was just a bit *cough* clogged up :redface:
I will be back later in this thread as soon as I have the results. x x
I will be thinking of you today and crossing fingers its great news. I feel for you on the BT too - I have to have them every month and I don't think I've escaped without bruising yet.

Is it rational that I'm thinking a group of us should just go stage a sit-in at the hospital until you get your results?
The first thing I thought of this morning after "how much can one woman go to the loo" was "I wonder if Nae posted yet".
Again, you have all the sticky vibes of a massive amount of people on here and I believe that's enough to keep AF away and deliver you a positive result.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax Nae - and let us know the outcome when you're ready to. :hug:
