BEWARE - Awkward morning sickness moments

I was about 11 weeks and clipped a traffic island.. thankfully the car didn't flip and I just blew a tyre..

But while the person behind me pulled over to fix it (he just happened to be a tyre fitter by trade, haha), I was in the bush throwing up.. Had difficulty explaining that it wasn't all shock causing me to be sick, it was morning sickness..

I was on my way to collect a friend to take to work, so he followed me to her house, to make sure I was ok, and she did the driving that day! I called his workplace to also say thanks!

I had numerous chucks on the side of the road.

oh this thread is hilarious. Haven't laughed this hard for ages :) Loved the MIL dinner being spewed on the front lawn.

I was driving my drunk friend home from a dinner a few weeks back and I had to pull over and vomit on someone's front lawn. So awful and my drunk friend thought it was hilarious that I as the sober one was vomiting and she as the drunk one wasn't. I then started to cry :(

Rolling off the couch and knowing that I couldn't crawl to the bathroom fast enough so I had to make a choice between throwing up in DH's ug boot or DS's wagon. Went with the wagon.

Not me, but a lady on the train. Very crowded Friday afternoon, she threw up on herself, took her jacket off and put it over her front. I thought she was drunk being a Friday afternoon & all. This happened around 1998/1999. It occured to me when I was pg with DD, that she was more likely pg. How slow & stupid was I lol! The worst thing was, everyone sitting near her just ignored her.

I threw up in the garden at DS's kindy. That was the tenth time that day. & I'd had an injection of maxalon to stop it :(.

Not ms exactly, but when I was in labour with DS, I had the urge to use the toilet. Unfortunately I had the urge to vomit at the same time. I couldn't turn around quick enough. Poor DH had to clean that one up.

I work in a tertiary institution and a few weeks ago I was throwing up in the bathroom and having the students waiting in line asking if I was okay, but kind of sniggering too. They most likely thought that I was hung over.

I have thrown up in many a gutter, rubbish bin and those small bushes that they plant on the sides of footpaths in the city.

Omigosh! How could i forget this one... Another story reminded me..

When i was around 20ish weeks with DD me and DP started fooling around. Because of a really bad gag reflex due to severe morning sickness there was something we couldn't do.... *ahem* *cough* :redface: so we waited until i was fully over it or so we thought.... Oh ill mention we had spag bol for dinner.... anywho half way through he got a tad excited shoved my head down and yep hit that gag reflex and i covered him in my dinner!!!!!!! :o :sick:

It didnt stop there i proceeded to spend the whole night in the toilet vomiting and crying. Usually he shares our war stories in the bedroom with his mates but i begged him not to breathe a word and he said he was more worried *i* would tell people!

I vomited during labour with DD whilst going to the loo, never seen people run so quickly (considering I had an internal not long prior and was no where near ready they all thought I'd had her in the toilet)

This pg I have vomited in my bin at work, all over my bathroom at home, in the shower. Not good. (and everytime I had to clean it myself lol)

These have made me laugh so much. I love the spewing into the toy truck! :rofl:

My absolute worst was sitting on the train - at the seats near the doors - and getting that horrible feeling. There was no where to go and before I knew it, I vomited everywhere, all over myself and all over the floor. I was only about 10 weeks so not showing at all. I am also one of those people that cries when they vomit, so it was so difficult getting the "I'm pregnant" line out. Thankfully everyone was so sweet about it. It was horrible as I was 5 stops away from my destination and everyone that hopped on the train got a great look at the contents that were once in my stomach.
I have also vomited in the middle of Flemington Markets. Then more on the way home when stopped at a red light. Oh and I vomited outside the very low fence of some poor old guy doing his gardening when on my walk to work.

I was shocking when pg with DS, I managed to use up all my sick leave very quickly...

I had to leave my house in the morning (after having a spew) walk to the bus stop, spew in the bin or bush (whichever was closest) get on bus, try not to inhale as invariably there would be some one with bad bo or bad breath that would just have to sit next to me, I did have to get off early a few times to have a spew in the bushes, walk to the next stop/s until the next bus came...then get to the train station and RUN off the bus to spew in a bin/bush, I wouldn't get on the train until the chimes were going so I had more time to spew if needed, I would usually manage ok on the train, get to my stop, get off spew again in the bin, walk down road....this particular day I was having to stop every five minutes, was already running late from taking 2 different buses, I finally managed to get almost to the end of the street, nausea hit badly, I was on my knees in a bush in a carpark, this woman was standing there in the car park just STARING at me, never said a word...I was almost hysterically crying by that stage too.... I crawled to the street and got myself back up, then onto the main road...spewed a few more times in a few bushes...FINALLY walked in the door of work and had to RUN to the employee toilets..I sat on the floor and sobbed my heart out, I felt so awful :( I cleaned myself up, reapplied my make up and walked out to the shop, my supervisor took one look at me and sent me home!
I started bawling again as I had no leave left so I wouldnt get paid even though I just went through ALL THAT to get there!!

I was only 10 or so weeks at that stage, that weekend I ended up in hospital on a drip and was prescribed some awesome drug that worked wonders (cant remember the name..starts with a z??)

I also spewed in the carpark at casuarina shopping center, in the fruit and veg section at woolies...I think basically you name it, I spewed on it! LOL

When I was about 10 weeks, at my desk at work that overwhelming sensation came over me just as a male coworker came over to ask something. I must have looked pretty dodgy, as he quickly reached down to get my bin and proceeded to hold it under my face as I hurled. Impeccable timing, though very embarrassing! I apologized, took the bin and ran to the bathroom while he casually asks my cubie what she knows. When I got back to my desk he'd left me a glass of water and a note saying to go home!

He was pretty good about it and hasn't mentioned it since, except for an 'I worked that one out! When I announced the pregnancy a couple weeks later.
