Braxton Hicks? Is it too early?

What was the earliest you could feel any BH contractions? I'm almost 26 weeks and I feel like my body is well & truly priming itself which is very unsettling to say the least. With my first pregnancy I got absolutely nothing until I was in labour at 39 weeks.

I am definitely getting tightenings of some description, its more like waves of sensation right down low. It will happen regularly for up to an hour or so, then go away and I won't feel it for a few more hours or until the next day.

    Any thoughts?

I got BH very early, from about 12 weeks with the twins. If they are irregular and not taking your breath away, or stop when you rest, they are most likely nothing to be worried about. If you are unsure though always talk to your midwife as it's better safe than sorry
