Yep, as long as you have a good diet you should be fine. I didn't take any supplements except folate so you're doing much better than I did.![]()
I was just wondering, for those mamma's that have breastfed while pregnant, did you take any extra vitamins at all?
Currently I am taking blackmores pregnancy and breastfeeding gold with some extra fishoil capsules. (thompsons I think they're called, and it's salmon oil...)
Would you think that's enough?
Ta! x

Hi Helle
You should be fine, unless you have seen a dr and had blood work done to show a deficency, most supplements you take will be more than enough (you pee out most of it). Making sure you eat a varied and healthy diet is your best bet. Eat to hunger, drink to thirst.
I breastfed throughout pregnancy, and than tandem feed no worries.
A good source of info for this is the ABA booklet "Breastfeeding through pregnancy and Beyond", or see this link: Australian Breastfeeding Association - Breastfeeding Through Pregnancy and Beyond

Anyone else find breastfeeding a bit pinchy and painful now that they are UTD?
I'm hoping it's a symptom, still waiting on scan to confirm my BFP.
