    Fly spray and pregnancy!

Ok so in our lounge room, in the corner of our windows by our curtains, some very nasty looking black spiders were making quite a home, making babies and everything. i don't usually mind except its right above where one of our lounges is that the kids sit on, so i just wanted them out of there....i just sprayed woolworths brand 'natural' fly spray and ok ill admit i was probably a bit excessive with how much i sprayed...i have the taste of the fly spray on my tongue! yuck! and the whole lounge room smells, so ive opened the windows and fly screen door and also set a fan up to hopefully dissipate the smell.....now im just really worried cause im 36 weeks pregnant...does anyone know if its really dangerous to use fly spray when pregnant? i know it was a dumb thing to use so much, but im pretty scared of spiders and whilst i was spraying it felt good LOL.

    any help??

I have no idea, But I am a fan on 1 can of fly spray per spider.. lol and our new house when we moved to Toowoomba was INFECTED with spiders outside and heaps inside, so I went NUTS with the fly spray... and I used the mortein outdoor 6 month spray too. And I hate flies, so I used like half a can chasing flies around the house.

I probably shouldn't have being pregnant and all, but my DD is perfect and fine. I understand your need to kill them!

I am sure they have more natural ones then mortein etc?

I hadn't really thought about it. 37wks here, and I chased a fly around my teeny tiny ensuite the other night.

I wonder about this too. Ants drive me nuts in our house, I can't stand them!! I regularly douse them in spray & just go to another room for a little while.
But not sure if I should be using spray either??

hahaha, see we all do it! I am sure as long as you aren't sitting in the room with all the windows closed etc it is fine...

we are having a ****ie issue atm, kids think it has nothing to do with the fact that they scraps of food lying around lol anyway, my son uses it on a regular basis, and i try not to be in the same room, but it happens, im only 21 weeks, and have probably inhaled a few fumes, we have the woolies brand one too. I guess as long as its not inhaled on a daily basis then it should be ok.
