Is cancelling an appt due to heat an acceptable excuse?

I have a midwife appt today at 1pm. It is already way too hot outside and it is only going to get hotter with predicted temps in the very high 30's.
I am thinking about cancelling my appt but wondering how it may go down. Do you think the heat is a reasonable excuse? Afterall, I would have to park away from the hospital and walk - not a massive distance but still a walk - and I will be pushing the 2 little kids in a tandem pram.
I have been in perfect health throughout this entire pregnancy with perfect blood pressure.
But this is potentially my last appt too. What would you do?

Is it possible to just rescheduel it? I think it's a fair reason, especially with two children! Maybe for a week or so later, and hope it's cooler then?

I would rescheduel it aswell. Maybe ask for it to be early early in the morning if thats possible.

Perfectly reasonable. Can you reschedule for early in the morning?

I'm not sure about rescheduling as I see a certain midwife every time and she may not be on next time. I may reschedule for next week but I may not make it as I am due this Sunday and I've only gone over once which was my first child.
I really don't want to take the kids out in this heat, especially at 1pm, and I definitely don't wanna be walking around as well as pushing a pram. It's days like this I wish DH was home from work!

My last appointments were total non-events. Yep, there's a baby in there, yep it's still got a heartbeat (no kidding you don't kick like that without a heartbeat) when can we induce you (WTF? The baby isn't even due yet?!). Kthxbai.

Umm... any reason you want to move an appointment is "acceptable".
It isn't school, you are an adult and it is far too hot, then it is far too hot!
Glad you could reschedule the appointment, and enjoy a nice cool day flopped out where ever
