    Common morning sickness symptoms

So I know everyone is completely different when it comes to morning sickness but what are the different symptoms? Ie. Vomiting? Neusea? Symptoms at the other end? Food issues? Thanks!

I don't know how typical my experience is, but I had two weeks of nausea from waking til about lunch. Right in the middle was worst, I vomited on two days - and I know I was lucky that's all it was!

I found I had to keep snacking all morning or I'd feel really ill. The worst for me though was at night, after all that snacking I couldn't handle dinner. The thought of cooking it, the smell, everything turned me off. I had to go back to small non-offensive foods for dinner for a while.

My two week were between 7 & 9.

I hope morning sickness is kind to you!

Oh, and do you reckon you may already be utd? I know you were going for a pre-pregnancy check up, so good luck!

Well I'm not sure, woke up this morning really nauseated and vomited twice but I have had no other cramps etc like you would with food poisoning etc. Thought I'd do some checking. Probably a bug or something but thought I should suss things out! So you knew you were pregnant before the morning sickness?

Yeah, I was charting and everything so as soon as I was late I tested. And because it didn't start til about week 7 I'd known for around 3 weeks. I know everyone's m/s is different though, so that certainly could be an early sign.

Are you late and do you have any other symptoms? If you're gonna test I'll be stalking you!

Well I am pretty irregular but my last one was 3rd Jan so technically wouldn't be due yet. I feel tired, but no soreness etc. Haha dh would be stunned if I checked now lol!

With DS I got off pretty easy, threw up a few times but it was usually in the mornings after having something with milk in it.

With DD it was awful from 4 wks until 12wks or so I couldn't kept anything down not even water, always felt like I was going to vomit.

So the 3rd is the first day of your last period? In a standard 28 day cycle you'd ovulate on day 14, so the 17th, which is only 2 days ago. You could have a fertilized egg there, but it'll take a few days to get to implantation and start releasing the hormone that causes the sickness. I'd wait a while, but good luck, I have everything crossed for you!

If this isn't your month, I definitely recommend charting - fertility friend is a fantastic site, it helped me heaps. If after this you do wait a couple of months, it's good to start anyway to get an idea of when you're ovulating etc

Ok I might check that site out. Hopefully it still works with irregular cycles. See how I go the next few days anyways. See if the sickness gets worse lol

Yeah, it'll still give you an idea with irregular cycles. It goes by basal body temp (you can get a great thermometer from belly belly) and things like cervical mucous. When you start, I definitely recommend joining a ttc group, the girls there are so helpful!

Is it possible to have morning sickness after eating?

I found it would depend on what I ate. I kept a stash of scotch fingers in my desk drawer, and because they were dry and I could eat them slowly they worked pretty well. Other things (sour lollies, fruit) left me feeling just as blergh as before.

Do you reckon this cycle might be it? Fingers crossed for you

Not sure but I have had a few other symptoms as well and the last few days I've been feeling more nauseated than before and getting car sick.. Which I don't normally. Might have to do a test and cure my thoughts lol!

my morning sickness symptoms were mainly smell, nausea, vomitting and rotten headaches. All kinds of smells set me off.

I've had cramping, really really tired, very hungry in the evenings and feeling nauseous (no vomiting - yet) and almost seedy, like I've been drinking really heavily the night before
