    DENTIST

    hi ladies,

ive heard that while you are pregnant you receive a free dentist appointment..

just wonder exactly what the appointment covers?

is it just a check up?

Me too. Ive never heard of this either, not even my GP has mentioned it which is a lil worrying because they do suggest to have a check up when your pregnant but never was told its free

LOL Ambz, are you SURE you didn't dream this? Awesome if it's true. Not that I have any intention of going to the dentist any time soon don't tell my mum or DH!!

It's free in the UK - OK, it should be free anyway as we have the NHS, but normally it's only children, pensioners and pregnant women who have free dental checks. All other grown-ups have to pay, either an NHS surcharge or a private fee, and there are no NHS dentists anyway so you have to go private no matter what... but in theory, British pregnant women get free dental care.
