So my cycle's are 30 days and I ovulate around CD15/16. I am currently pregnant and due in April, that much is for sure.
If I go by my LMP and cycle info I would be due the 3rd of April. If I go by my very first scan at 5wks I would be due the 6th. If I go by the latest scan I had I would be due the 8th. There is no way I got a very very + HPT 7 days after I conceived if I go off my scan dates. I would rather go with my LMP dates because it makes more sense in relation to ovulation, my 30 day cycles and when I got a + HPT.
Which would you go with??
I have another u/s on wednesday so Im curious to see what EDD this one gives me
I totally missed your PG announcement.. Congrats Anna!!!!
I don't know what to suggest re due dates but maybe I would go with the latest date, at least offically... so that, on the chance you do not deliver by then you have a bit more time before medical intervention????
I think I might go with the 6th still, Makes sense I could have implanted 2 or 3 days later.
Ruf, thanks hun! It was a tiny bit of a surprise but a welcome one. Im not going private this time I have applied to the brand new birth centre up here so theyll let me go atleast 7 days over if not longer (isnt an issue for me though, I never make it to 40wks) so Im not to worried about all that
I think they always like to go with LMP dates as they are usually more accurate than a scan coz all babies grow at different rates.
I'd go with the 6th. In between.
I had 11, 12 & 13 April with DD1. I went with the 12th. She came the 20th.
I had 25 & 29 May with DD2. I went with 29th May, she came June 5.
DS was the 6 & 10 March, he came on the 8th.
I think better going the later one so they don't think you are over due if you aren't, but as I said LMP is usually more reliable.
I'd go with your latest date 'officially' Anna, cos then, as the others have said, you'll have more room to go over. In your head though, be prepared to go early (especially having your 3 so close together).
From my observations, some people are long bakers and some are short bakers too. Some people consistenly go over, have their babies at 41 weeks, and others have never made full term. So I'd go with your track record a bit as well - for example, Riv was 5 or so days early, Si was 2 days, so I'd be prepared for a third baby to come earlier as well.
