Eating a lot of fruit can help, as will prune juice, also liqorice. My doc told me it was OK to use a natural laxative, but in moderation, if things were really 'blocked up' (his words, not mine LOL). A health shop should have some.

I found Metimucil to work a treat.. otherwise anything high in fiber ie bran/cerials and fruit is good too.

My mum says OJ works. I guess if OJ is good that means oranges must be good too. Prunes/Prune juice are good, and eat high fibre cereal like weet bix or all bran for breakfast. I also found metamucil helped.

EEeeew Bec!!! I'm not eating a kiwifruit skin on!!
Scuse me saying, but I am so bloody constipated at the moment, and the roid from baby #1 is popping everytime I go #2. ARGH!!

Well you need to drink lots of water. Make sure at least 2L a day, if not 3. I find dried apricots get me moving downstairs. I have an OJ every morning for breakkie with my vitamins, and its doing jack

Yep, I agree with Fi - loads of water is definitely a must! I think eating as much fruit and vegies as you can is also good.

Try some watermelon or rape papaya as both of them have high fiber and water content.
