    Crazy Strong Early Fetal Movements...

well as the title suggests i am totally in awe of this bubba and seeking people with similar experiences to share their stories, because although really cool, i am also completey shocked at how full on bubbity boo is and i'm not even 13 weeks!

to give an insight, i started to feel flutters and the occasional kick about a week ago (so just before 12 weeks). didnt think much of it, as i was in a bit of disbelief and it was only every now and then. BUT after last night, i realise there is noooo denying the obvious LOL!

at about 9pm i was putting DD to bed after a BBQ dinner party and i was reading her a book on the couch when i got an ALMIGHTY kick. it was enough to make me jump off the couch and take a breath! and from then on for the next hour/hour and half it was "party in the uterus" time!!! at one point i was standing up in front of the couch as DH took over duties as i was just trying to contain the kicks and rolls going on as some were literally making me feel queasy. THEN my belly started moving...like visibly ...enough for DH to notice from the couch so he quickly put his hand on my belly and could FEEL the baby moving (big phat kicks and rolls!!).

    weird. and so full on!!

You lucky duck. I didn't start to feel proper movements until about 1.5 weeks ago. But now they are so frequent, im now at the point of worrying if i dont feel bub move all the time. I always stop what im doing and enjoy the movements. DP is jealous that i feel them and he can't yet lol.

That is cool ! I think with DD I was about 15 weeks when i first really felt tumbling movements, before that it was a popping and scratching sensation I am really looking forward to the first movements this time

SNAP!!!!! Me too although I am only just over 9 weeks. I kept thinking it was my uterus moving and growing but these sensations felt different to the ouchie of the moving and growing of my uterus. Feels like butterflies in a whirl wind for me and happens quite often throughout the day. I did not think it was possy....but after reading your post....anything is possy!!!

    Yay!!!!

    Wow. That's really impressive!
I could feel DS tapping from around 14 weeks and it was strong enough to feel from the outside, but nothing like that. Have you had a scan...?

ahhh somewhat relieved that I am not the only with an active bubba in there!

i have the scan tomorrow.....eeeppp! DD keeps telling me there are 2 babies in there ...does one believe the 'wisdom' of a 2 year old LOL?!

apparently the shower is bubba's favourite activity...whenever i turn off the water there are lots of kicks and rolls in what i can only gather are protests!

will be having a rather sleepless night tonight before the scan that's for sure

    Wowsers !

The earliest i remember feeling anything was 14 weeks - but only flutters not full on kicks/movements...

Let us know the outcome of your scan - maybe there is more than one ??

    Goodluck !
