After conceiving on my third cycle of clomid my specialist is sending me to have a dating scan and its this afternoon!
Anyone had one of these before? What can I expect to see if anything at 7 weeks??? Lets hope we see a little
you should also see a heart beating! yes i had a dating scan with my pg as my cycle was irregular. you may have to have an internal u/s done, depending on how much they can see through your abdomen. don't worry, it sounds MUCH worse than it is. good luck
I had a dating scan at 5 weeks 4 days.. unfortunately at that time it was too early to see bub's heartbeat but we saw a black sack with a lil white looking jelly bean inside.. theyll have a look at your overies and check if everything in theres ok.. it was still very exciting

I'm holding off until at least 8 weeks...I want to be guaranteed of seeing a heartbeat! LOL

The scan was awesome. The technician was really good and found our bub straight away. We could see the sac and the blob inside it!
Little measured 0.92cm and the heart beat was 126!
Apparently everything was perfect!I predicted exactly 7 weeks and scan indicates 6weeks and 6days!
I started crying and DH wouldnt stop looking at our first pic all the way home!!
That should be it now. I say bye bye to my specialist and have my first OB appointment at 11week and 2 days!
Very tired as usual so off to bed.

I had 2 dating scans. The first was at 5 weeks 5 days and they couldn't see the baby to measure it so I had to go back at 8 weeks and I was so relieved to actually se that there was a baby in there. Saw it's heart beat too.
