just wondering are dental costs the same when you are pregnant? is there any discount

(I am from the UK and I think it is free there)

I need to go to the dentist soon

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. Dental costs are expensive. A basic filling is likely to start at $180. Also you may have to shop around for a dentist who is willing to do work whilst you are pg - many simply won't and unfortunately it doesn't entitle you to any kind of discount. In canberra, it can be hard enough finding a dentist who doesn't have a six month waiting list - although with the financial crisis those waiting lists are getting shorter.
