Dressing bubs

We live in QLD and DS #1 was born in winter. Number 2 is coming in January. Just wondering what to dress them in at night in hospital. Do you put a singlet on them and a summer grosuit? Any socks? Cotton wrap? Advice is much needed as I stressed about this alot the first time as well.

I have had all my bubs in summer and found that simple cotton smocks or summer bodysuits were fine for in the hospital. Light weight cotton wraps are ok to swaddle them in.

When at home, i used to have singlets and nappies on them with loose wraps. My trouble was trying to keep them cool as well.

My DS was born in summer and we had him in a singlet, summer bodysuit and muslin wrap all the way through, although the airconditioner was on most of the time to keep the temp down in the house.
