Endocrinologist in Sydney Area

[Where there's hope]

Can anyone recommend a brilliant and approachable endocrinologist (pregnancy hormone specialist) in the Sydney or Illawarra area?

I am PG and fear I may MC again due to wildly fluctuating Progesterone levels. Have had some tests run by my FS prior to PG but am getting nowhere.

Ideally, it would be someone approachable enough that they would accept a telephone call, rather than make me queue up for weeks while I am going out of my mind.

I see Dr Stephen Thornley at Miranda - he also has rooms in Menai - he is fantastic - straight to the point, No BS and is even happy to send you emails in response to questions - and for the best part he runs on time everytime - therefore if you have an appointment you would expect to see him within 5-10 minutes of that time - I'm yet to read a magazine in office waiting for him -lol

I would have to recommend Dr Gavin Sacks who has rooms in Kogarah. He's with IVF Australia but also works as an OB. Especially in cases of recurrent miscarriage, he's the only doctor I would recommend at all. He is kind, gentle, and even though he was not my primary doctor, has been happy to maintain contact by email, and has always replied promptly.

Sadly, he's also away until the 18th of July, so not really going to help if you need someone immediately.
