Even smells and the thought of food make me sick :(

    Hi Ladies,
    Me again

The last 2 days my M/S has been crazy, both of my past preg I had all day M/S but nothing like this.
I can't eat a thing, even the thought of food makes me gag. It's a struggle to brush my teeth even.
I seem to have a food aversion to all foods 24/7, I'm eating dry crackers which make me feel better for about 15 mins and then it's back to feeling terrible again.
What have you girls done to ease the M/S?
I bought crystallised ginger and lemon/ginger tea but i can't even stomach that.
Hints, tips would be greatly appreciated, i'm not even 7 weeks yet and it's hit hard so early.
    Thanks

I'm feeling exactly the same. Even now at almost half way. I kept nothing down yesterday, though I do have some good days.
I would just stick to eating the crackers. Anything you can. It doesn't matter what it is. Even if its just a piece of chocolate. If you can keep it down eat it. Worry about being healthy later.
Drink plenty of water & fluids.
Soups might be easier. Just remember that it's probably only you suffering. Baby will take what it needs from you & you will feel worse for it. But baby will still be healthy & happy in there. (not much of a consolation, huh)
Blackmores do have a morning sickness formula, mostly made up of ginger you could try. Didn't do much for me, but a friend swears by it. There's also ginger tea, ginger beer & ginger bikkies that might help.
Other than that though, I don't know. Nothing works for me.

Hey Babyluv! Congrats on the pg I hadn't caught up on that bit of news...

I was just wondering if you'd thought of giving acupuncture a try? I've heard it can help heaps - I didn't suffer too badly so I didn't try it, but if its bad, maybe you could give it a go.

Let me know if you want more details...

BIG morning sickness is a terrible thing and especially when no matter what you do your sick.

I got that bad that not just eating or thinking of eating made me throw up but i couldnt even hold down water. I felt like crap all the time i was becoming depressed so i was given a prescription for maxalon.

I had morning sickness up to about 20 weeks. I still have moments like today i felt really nauseas.

I found if i kept my sugars up i was alright towards the end.

I agree with maybe try accupuncture and ginger anything.

Awww hun . I suffered hyperemisis throughout my pregnancy and threw up a minimum of 4 times a day up until 37 weeks, DD was born at 38+4 weeks, in the early days (6weeks to about 15) about 12 times a day and I found the only thing I could eat for the first 25 weeks was peeled green apples, you can grate them or just be sure to chew lots.

Also fruit tingles but these are more a case of they dont ease it but they arent so bad coming back up iykwim and sometimes that is all you can hope for. DH and I shared 2 or 3 meals through out myentire pregnancy and one was the night before I went into labour

If it gets really bad see you may need IV fluids hun and it is possible to medicate when it is severe enough. Although I found many GPs are reluctant to prescribe meds...had to fight to get mine!

I do hope it improves soon for you hun, there really is nothing worse xxx
