    Exhausted zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    Hi All,

This is my 2nd Pregnancy and I'm almost 14 weeks along but am STILL feeling thoroughly exhausted! I'm lucky to get through the day and find work so hard as by around 2-3pm, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open and it gets to the point that I feel dizzy because of how tired I am.

I remember being exhausted in the 1st Trimester in my last pregnancy but was sure it got better in the 2nd Tri.

Is it just because I'm working, and already looking after a busy toddler? Anyone else feeling down right exhausted??? Any tips?

    Thank you :-)

No tips Powelly but much sympathy as I have been through the same thing. I'm now 27 weeks and have been exhausted the whole time. My sleep time was about 2pm as well There must be something going on because all the ladies in my preggie group all have the same problem. We never got our energy back in the 2nd trimester at all and now we are starting the 3rd and are still having problems. Huge hun. Hope it clears up for you

Wish i had tips, but im feeling your pain! Im 10 weeks, my first pregnancy and i pretty much permanently feel like a train wreck... I have a window of 3 hours at night when i feel good... the rest of the time Im basically a zombie! ... is this really what i signed up for ? lol

I find drinking english breakfast tea with sugar helps.... And eating an orange is really good too...Other than that i dont know what to suggest as more than one or two coffees per day is not recommended - im not drinking coffee at all...

It could be this heat that making you tired, its pretty exhausting even stepping outside where I live

With my other pregnancies I felt the exhaustion in the first trimester but then felt better in the second.
This time I was fine in the first tri but it's all just hitting me now! I'm 14 weeks today and am ready for bed by 2pm!
Hang in there... Maybe we will be feeling fab in our 3rd trimester!?

I was the same for a few weeks longer than that, then I had heaps of energy, but when I hit 33ish weeks, it was back with a vengeance!

It does sound pretty normal. But it probably wouldn't hurt to get your iron levels check.
