What was the size of your second bub compared to first bub?

hello, was just wondering how people's second baby compared in size to their first? were they bigger or smaller? by much? does sex make a difference?

Both girls were born on their due dates and weighed 8lb 7oz, they were both 52cm long too!! DS was 2 1/2 weeks early and was 50cm and 8lb 3oz so I think he would've been bigger than the girls.

Both boys, born a couple of days before 40 weeks, #1 was 9 pound 4, and #2 was 7 pound 9. They look very different though, obviously got a variety of genes we're passing on!

I think , as Trill says, it's just luck luck luck...

DS2 was exactly 1 pound lighter than DS1. But he was 3 1/2 weeks early, so most likely he'd have been bigger had he stayed put a bit longer.

    DD1 was 3580g - 7lb 13.5oz 52 cm
DD2 was 3350g - 7lb 6oz (i think) and 52 cm. I had gastro at 38 weeks and she has had issues with lactose her whole life, so she got much skinnier before she got fatter, and now she is heavier than Sarah was at her age. There is only a couple of kg between them now.

    My 2nd baby (Ronan) weighed 3050gm (6lb 11) and 51.25cm long

Both were born at 40 weeks (well my daughter a few days earlier as she was breech - elective caesarean, son was natural delivery on his due date).

New partner....(who was bigger at birth than first husband)
1st baby (Laura)....weighed 4020 (8lb 12!) born a few days before her due date (elective caesarean, breech again!)

    DS was 8lb 7oz (3.8kg), 53cm, born 5 days early.
    DD was 8lb 7oz (3.8kg), 52.5cm, born 3 days early.

I was shocked that they were exactly the same TBH! When Eva was born I was like 'Oooh, she's so much smaller than Aidyn was!', But nope she wasn't at all!
