    Fundus Question

Does anyone know where my fundus should be at this stage? And is it important that it be centered, or is it OK to shift a little from side to side? (Mine, obviously, does.) I thought I remembered reading somewhere that you should be about 1 1/2 inches below the navel at 17 weeks, but I feel like I'm there now! Of course, this is my inexperienced self feeling this, not my midwife - I see her this afternoon, so we'll see what she says. Just curious if you think I should be bracing myself for twins! Hi Cricket
Please don't worry about where your fundus is. Measuring the fundus height is verry inaccurate and is no longer done in a lot of hospitals.
Yes it is fine for it to move a little from one side to the other side

Thanks Alan! Good to hear. I'll stop checking, and wait for the professional to have a look. (My appointment got postponed, since the midwife was at a delivery. I'll see her tomorrow, now.)
