getting bubs to move for u/s - suggestions??

    Hi there,
I'm having a gender determination u/s tomorrow evening (I'm 18 weeks) and wondered what I can do or consume that can make sure the bubs is active?
Any experiences or advice would be really appreciated!
    Thanks,

    Hi

I'm new here but I happened on your question. I was told that a good slug of cold orange juice can help to energise bub.

When we needed to get bubs to move we always drank a glass of ice cold water really quickly & sure enough we got movement pretty soon afterwards.

A mars bar works for me every time!
also a sugary drink like coke or lemonade or something!

About 20 mins before the ultrasound, give it time to kick in!

Yep, slurpies or mars bars. The slurpies are hard though because your already BUSTING to go to the toilet. Cold liquids are only advisable if you have really good bladder control 8-[

    Hi Page

Any ice cold sweet drink usually does the trick. Lemonaide is good. Drink it quickly about 30 mins before the U/S

Thank you all very much for your advice. I did what was suggested. I had half a mars bar and some lemonade around 30 mins before, and it worked! We found out that our little bub is a girl!!! We're both over the moon!
    Thanks again
