    Bio-oil ? Palmer butter lotion?

I applied Palmer's butter lotion since first trimester, but I am not sure if this is effective or not. I got a feeling that it's not really impression coz hard to be absorbed by the skin. Anyone used bio-oil product? Effective? Or, any product to recommend?

I used bio oil with my first pregnancy and got few stretch marks. I didn't with my 2nd and go\t lots. Not sure if that was because of the bio oil or that I was bigger with DS.

    Hun,
hate to be the bearer of bad news but if stretchies are in your genes you will get them no matter what you use!
I used Bio oil with my pregnancy with NIkita and granted we only got to 24 weeks but I still had grand canyon red stretchies on my hips.

I have not wasted any money on those types of products this time (I did find my bio oil but have barely used it) I am almost full term and I still only have a handful of red stretchies on my hips and just a few on my boobs and just above my scar line from the c-sec.

My mother had lots, I have always had them from my teenage years , while they may not look glamourous they DO fade and its part and parcel of pregnancy.

Some people are not prone to getting them so if your not sure ask your mum and even grandmother what they were like for them.

Back to your question, Bio oil is a bit nicer IMO it smells nice too but it won't prevent anything.
