HPTs - still positive if miscarrying?

Hi all

I've had some bleeding over the last couple of days (yes, instigated by DTD!) but am still getting positive HPTs, I know they detect HCG so if you were technically miscarrying would you still get a BFP?

You can still get positive HPTs I think as the hcg levels have to go down. But if your bleeding was after DTD it may have been related to that as the cervix gets a bit sensitive when you're pregnant and can bleed a little bit after DTD.

Yeah I know, but didn't think it'd last two days! Although it goes away then comes back etc..
