    Question Just a bit concerned...

I went to the loo earlier and noticed a brown discarge like what you would get at the end of your period for a few days...

Is this anything to be worried about?
I didn't get it with my last 2 pregnancies!
I have been having some cramping like period pain but i just thought it was because I moved to suddenly!

PLEASE HELP I'm starting to freak as DF can't get home until tomorrow night!

If it is brown then it is old blood. But can you ring the maternity ward of the hospital you're going to and ask them what they think it might be? Just to ease your mind at least. hope it is nothing to worry about though

sorry I'm not much help. As far as I know brown blood is fine.

The pains are a bit concerning, if I was in your position I would be calling the hospital & talking to a midwife, even if just to ease your mind, it may just be from you seeing the brown blood your mind may be making you feel things you dont want to.

    Hope everythings ok
    big hugs

I believe a little bit of spotting is normal during pregnancy - and it is also normal to not have this.

If you have not had cramps like this before (I did throughout my pregnancy with DS and thought nothing of it as it was the uterus growing), you bleed any more, your baby isn't moving over a few hours (try drinking cold water or whatever usually wakes the baby up) then PLEASE feel free to call your doctor or the hospital for some reassurance. If you're stressed it's not worth trying to calm yourself when you're scared.

Well I woke during the night with period like cramps again and was needing to go to the loo but when I wiped there was a small clot about the size of a 5 cent peice and was about 5 high. I'm still getting the dull aching low down below my hip bone in the center.

I don't know what to do!

Mel, ring the hospital hun. Last week when I was there, they assured me that no bleeding after 20 weeks was acceptable until it was checked out and that they had no issues with my ringing each and every time.
Have you got someone who can watch the boys while you get it checkd out?

You really need to be checked today, asap. Ring the hospital now and tell them what's going on. Please don't leave it any longer.

It could be nothing, but those symptoms are concerning and with that pain you really need to not delay things any longer.

My mum is opening a new store around the corner and I'm pretty sure she can't leave and DF is in bris until tonight, there is also no way I'm calling my il's

ETA: I just rang the hospital and they want me to go in and get checked out! Just doing a call aroung to get the boys minded. I'm so scared. I hope it has nothing to do with my low lying placenta

Ring your hospital or OB if you have one. If they want you to go in for a check just take the kids with you.

Mel, go in with the boys if you have to. I hope everything is ok. If I wasn't at work today I would come and meet you and take the boys while you had your appointment

Best of luck hun. I had the same thing with my first pg and it was due to a blood clot in the uterine lining - perfectly harmless to me and bub, and that bub is now a 3 1/2 yo boy. I am sure you will be fine too, but getting checked out is a great idea so you can stop worrying.

Thinking of you Mel. Glad you decided to go. Same thing happened to me last week.
Will be watching out. Wish I lived closer to be able to look after your boys for you.
