Healthy live baby at 10 weeks 4 days... what are chances of m/c from now on?

I had my scan this, thinking I was almost 12 weeks - I was looking forward to spreading the news after the scan. However, my dates were off (I thought they might be), and bubba was measuring 10 weeks 4 days. Everything looked good, and there was a nice strong heartbeat of 161bpm.
So, my question is what are the chances of miscarriage after seeing a healthy live baby at 10.5 weeks? If it's only a small, small chance I'll probably go ahead and start spreading the news, but I just want to be sure first.

    TIA

i think it would be the same as if u hadnt seen bub, same percentage as everyone until 12 weeks when the risk becomes alot smaller.
tricky one, we've always told ppl straight away, stupid i know but ah well.
yay for seeing ur little twinkle though!!!

From what I've heard, most miscarriages happen before 8 weeks, and anything past that is pretty good.

But I can't remember actual like percentages or anything.

Thanks girls. I feel like I remember reading percentages somewhere - wish I could remember where!

BTW, I've added a sneaky private album to my FB if you wanna see pics .

Hi Sterla, when my Ob scanned me last week at 9 weeks 5 days, and baby looked good he said 1% chance of miscarriage. So I reckon your chances are excellent.

Oh thanks Honeybee! That's exactly what I wanted to hear . Actually, maybe that's the percentage I was thinking of...

I went ahead and told a bunch of people. Couldn't help myself!

I have read that the chances after you've seen a heartbeat on a u/s go way down. I would think the chance is pretty slim.
