    Falling and hurting babies

How much of a fall would hurt your babies at 30 weeks?
DD2 escaped from the backyard as it's lunchtime at school and she wants her sister (school can be seen from home) so obviously I chase her down the driveway but due to being really dizzy because of how far my blood pressure is falling I stumbled and fell my arm and left side of my belly (where twin A is) copped the majority of the fall.
I don't have any pains as such just what I'd associate with falling but it's got me worried as I know that's right where a baby is

Oh hun, I hope you are okay after your fall. Babies are so well protected in there floating happily away without a care in the world but if you are concerned then please go and get checked out. I would probably go get checked out for peace of mind.

I had a fall at 40wks and when I rang the midwivEs they told me because I fell I should come in and get checked out. When I got there, they kept me for 4hrs to watch for signs of distress, bleeding, waters breaking or labour starting. I was on the baby heart monitor the whole time. My fall sounds similar to yours.

Call the midwives and see what they say. I might differ coz your carrying twins. Best of luck xx

You poor thing, it's scary when that happens! I had a fall around 15-16 weeks and my OB checked me out to ease my mind. They explained it was unlikely to hurt the baby but it does make you feel better having a quick checkup. I'd recommend it just for peace of mind

oh no!! hope you're okay, you poor thing i would definitely call your hospital just to be sure, and maybe go in and get checked out. seriously, there is no harm in just seeing how the bubs are going, and it will hopefully make you feel a bit better to know that everything is okay. all the best xxx
