Fancy dress costume ideas...please!

Hello everyone!

Now, I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm planning my DH's 30th birthday bash, which will be a fancy dress party, with the theme of "TV and Movie Characters".

Ahhh...but....I will be 7 months pregnant at the party. What the heck can I go as???!!!

Does anyone have any idea's? I guess I could always go as a fat man...like, maybe Vicky Pollard from Little Britain...or something along those lines. But would be nice to be a bit more feminine!

I just can't think of any pregnant movie or TV characters!

Mmm. a bit of a tricky one.... I'm thinking of Charlotte from the Sex and the City movie...gloves, pearls, beautiful (new) outfit maybe??

This isn't very glamorous , but i recently tried on a teletubbie costume from a costume hire place. There was lots of space in the front!! Another idea is a Geisha girl.
Hope you can find something to suit.

I've just caught a rerun of Look Who's Talking (John Travolta and Kirsty what's-her-face) and there is a part where they are making love and she is "seeing" their future with her pregnant and bare-foot in the kitchen, kid on the hip, hair up and looking all daggy from cooking .... not really a glam look, but SOOO TV and movie clich? that could be fun to do

Ok, so you had me curious and I googled

Father of the Bride 2 (Diane Keaton - bit old, but her "daugther" is also pg in this one)
Nine Months
Baby Mama (those two chicks from Saturday Night Live)
Knocked Up (she has some classy outfits in this one)
Rosemary's Baby - a bit eeek, because she is pg with Satan's child, but it's an "old" movie, so the costume might be good.

Juno! Such genius! I didn't even think of it...how easy would that be? Hair in a ponytail, funky tshirt, jeans, sneakers. Easy peasy! Ha ha ha! That would be great if I could get DH to go as the boyf...I'd love to see him in little yellow shorts Don't like my chances tho!

Kath & Kim - yeah! Thats cool too...I could do the whole tracksuit thing with the belly hanging out! That would be so funny!
