I am seven weeks 1 day preg. and on Thursday started experiencing very light, light brown spotting. Yesterday, the spotting continued in the morning and then turned into bleeding. I did pass a few very small clots, no bigger than a dime. I have had cramping the entire 7 weeks, so that was present, and only mildly stronger than normal. My OB sent me in to have my HCG levels tested. They showed they have increased significantly since my last test and were on track for an 8 week pregnancy. Today I am still bleeding, but it is more spotting. Very little on a pad, never have had to change pad due to bleeding. Still have mild cramping as usual. I am terrified this is a m/c....but with the HCG being so high, I do not know what to think. Any thoughts?
It sounds exactly like common early pregnancy bleeding - like I had with P around 6-8 weeks - but if you're worried, and it gets fresh and bright and painful (and much heavier), give your Dr/hopital a call.
i too had bleeding at about 8 weeks, was slightly different to what you discribing but it was scary non the less! i agree, if your worried see if you can book in for a scan to check all is ok! hugs to you.
