What causes them? I seem to have developed one on my neck, I wasn't expecting to start getting them this late in pregnancy and thought it was a pimple to start off with. Do they go away after delivery?

I don't know what causes them, and I am pretty sure for them to go away you have to have them cut off (or maybe the tie a strand of cotton around them) I have a few but they are not in obvious places so I've just left them.

I just noticed a couple tonight under my arms. I heard that they can go away themselves, but if they haven't after about 6 months, then you might need to get them removed.

I still have 1 from whebn i was pregnant with Charlie and that was almost 10 months ago. It's gotten a lot small er but its no where obvious and it doesnt bother me so i just leave it alone. I got my first one when i was pregnant with Lily and i had no idea what it is and i tried to pull it off, omg did it hurt! Will never try that again.

I got one under my right boob when I was pg with Olivia and it is still there.......

I also got a few tiny tiny ones on my neck/colar bone, that popped up in my third tri when pg with Lexie......they were small to start with, and they have gone paler in colour, so they are not even really visable, but I can feel them.........so sadly, no, they don't seem to disappear after you have delivered.......I review mine in the mirror most mornings and tell myself they are my battle scars!

I got lots when I was pg under my arms and apparantly its from hormones causing skin to be overactive during pregnancy. I also found that all my little moles on my chest were raised and still are a little. The dont go away but you can get them burnt off - like they do with warts, with your gp.
