2nd pregnancy - my belly feels paper thin, is this normal - low fluid?
Hi, this is probably a dumb question but its been playing on my mind, I am pregnant with my second baby, when the baby moves I can feel the movements as normal although they do hurt more than with my first pregnancy, but when i touch my belly i can really feel parts of the baby, I am not entirely sure what I am feeling but I think its bottom, back and feet, knees hands etc, I know you can feel body parts etc as I felt feet with my DD but this is different, its like my belly is almost paper thin, like i could hold the babies hand. Is it because everything is preloved so to speak.
I had low amniotic fluid with DD, and I am wondering if this could be the case with this baby aswell.
I have an appointment next week with my ob so I will ask him about it then and maybe get him to check the levels. A midwife said to me at my last checkup that if I had low fluid I would be measuring small but I measured normal with DD and the fluid was low, so I dont believe this is a good indication.
I have also read that minimal movements from the babty can be a sign of low fluid but again DD moved heaps and this baby moves even more.
