    how different were your pregnancies?

ive been thinking lately how different this pregnancy is from my first. at the beginning i thought perhaps we were having a boy, as i was sooo sick, so tired etc, nothing like with dd!

ive had morning sickness that lasted all day and night from 10w-16w. ive got aching pelvis bones, by tummy is sooo much bigger and i feel so uncomfortable.. so much so that i cant believe i have 19 weeks to go still!!

so, whos had similar pregnancies? or like me and had 2 completely different pregnancies!

    Both mine were complete opposites.
We thought DS2 was a girl because everything was so so different too.

I hope the rest of you pregnancy goes great!

This pregnancy has been completely different to mine with DS.
first time around, no m/s, no realy pregnancy symptoms at all except big belly and no AF.
I was rarely tired til about 38 weeks, not sore etc. I also had belleding scares at 6 and 8 weeks that turned out ok.
I didnt have any baby movements til 24 weeks, and never had ones that caused discomfort until i was in labour. Also no braxton hicks that I noticed.

This time, m/s til 18 weeks, no apetite to speak of til 20 weeks. Nausea etc. sciatic nerve pain, reflux, pelvic instability, reflux. Did I mention reflux? lol
My belly is smaller and I think I have put on less weight, but I was about 10 kilos heavier at the outset

Thats the main differences that I can think of.

My first pregnancy was a lot different to my second. With my son, I hardly had any morning sickness and felt like I carried quite low. I had high blood pressure and was diagnosed with mild pre-eclampsia by the end of the pregnancy.

This time around, I was sick pretty much everyday for a couple of months, carried high and my blood pressure has been normal. I had a feeling I was having a girl this time because of the differences and I was right!

    Couldn't be more different.

DS was EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sick, not tired, energised the whole time, birth dead easy. Just a lot easier than I thought it would be.

This time....... sick, sick, sick..................no energy and feel like I've been run over by a tram most days. Not only that, have had to have an amnio for this one, on which I am waiting for results. Nothing like this for DS. I hope the end is just as easy as DS, but the way my luck has been going on the first 17 weeks, I would be very surprised.

    Must be a girl!!!

All of mind have been different, but I have had morning sickness with every one. 8 and a half months worth with my first. Could keep down burger rings though. With the third I lost heaps of weight. This one though, I get more aches in the pelvic region and pains in the abdomen when I stretch. Sometimes its when I move at all.

I actually dont remember much about my second pregnancy and delivery at all. Its really strange. I just have this big block of partial amnesia. Its all gone.
