mint?

are u allowed to eat mint in pregnancy?
I was about to get some fresh stuff from the herb garden when i thought mm am i allowed to eat it? so thought id come and ask my expert panel hehe..

Hmm i cant see why you couldnt, just make sure u wash it really well first....

Not 100% sure if its a yes or a no, its only a herb afterall???

I'd say it would be fine to eat as it is freshly grown etc.

The only other reason you might want to avoid it is if you have heartburn - peppermint may aggravate it but mint from the garden is usually spearmint which is milder.
