How long did it take you to conceive?

I thought it would be interesting now that we have so many members, to run a poll on how long it took you to conceive. Let's see what stats we come up with!

Well from when I went off the BCP (our wedding night).... Then AF showed her head on my week off afterwards (didnt plan that too well now did I ](*,) )

It took us 4 1/2 months to concieve Goober......

Scary thing is that I just worked out... I have been preggy now for as long as we were trying... time flys alot faster once you are preggy apparently!!!

It took us 4months to concieve Kimberley.
3months for #2 which ended in a m/c then fell pg again two weeks after d&c only to miscarry again then it took 2months to concieve Alexander.

We are now TTC #5 and this is our second month of trying.

With Matthew it was our first month of trying after coming off the BCP.

With #2 I was still Breastfeeding and hadn`t been on contraception since Matthew was born, he was 5.5 months when we conceived but I`d say it would have been more 4 months of actively TTC

We were very lucky (or very fertile) we conceived both of ours on the first month of trying.

Mine's a hard one to answer... we were supposed to start ttc in January, but my cycle had disappeared about 6months before that, so with some help from the OB, got cycle going again, first cycle.. DH was away, 2nd cycle got pg! It actually feels like the first month we really 'tried' we got pg. Any advice what I should put in the poll? 1-3 months? or 6 months to include when we were supposed to start?

5 months of trying. For first four months just stopped using contraception and BDed when we figured i might be fertile. Obviously I had no clue because for fifth month of trying we used OPKs and fell pregnant that month!

With Lily we conceived on the pill, so no trying there. And #2 which ended in m/c was 3 months and now we're TTC again, so this will the 4th month.

#1 1 month on clomid
#2 13 months on clomid for 9 of those ( if memory serves correctly)
#3 3 years to save enough to give IVF a whirl ended in MC
# 4 11 months from last IVF cycle

Pregnancy #1 took us 3yrs & some help to happen.
Pregnancy #2 took us 2mths & unfortunately ended in a late loss at 18w5d.
Pregnancy #3 is just about to hit the 12mth mark so far to date.

Wouldn't that just be 1 month then? Meaning you fell pg in your first cycle of trying?

Yeah I guess. Yeah it was in the first cycle of trying.

It took us 3 months. It was my 4th month off the pill.

Like someone said earlier, that 3 months for us seemed to take forever and now that im pregnant, time is flying.
