How many C Sections have you had???

    * Mods feel free to move me to the right location if this is not right*

Thats my question... how many C sections have you had? Was there any complications in having as many as you did? I have no choice after 3 c sections to continue having them and i would like to know especially From ppl whom have had 4 c sections or more how it went?? Me and hubbie would love more kids but arnt sure how many c sections a person can have or what complications can arise from to many and how much is to much.

I have had 3 c/s.. no problems.. Only issue I feel I have is where I got my epidural.. It still gets a twinge from time to time and I can't bend backwards ...

I think there is someone on here (r possibly another forum I go to) who has 5 c/s

I am sure it would be fine. your Dr would been able to tell you how your uterus was loking at your last c/s. Mine was doing great and there was no mention of no more babies. I just chose to get my tubes tied.. I had minimal scar tissue ..

    Anyays hope that helps..

I might be wrong about the person with 5 c/s being on here..

I just remembered a neighbour of my mums had 5 c/s.. her eldest is only 7 or 8 now.. She was told after baby 3 not to get pregnant again as her uterus was incredibly thin but she went on to have 2 more.

    Hi There!

I have only had 1 baby and she was a CS and I am also hoping to have a large family, I have heard of many women to have 4 CS safely which is great news for you and me if I do indeed need to go down that track. There are a couple of other threads on this topic, I will see if I can find them for you. There are women out there who have had more than 4 also lets hope they find there way to you!

I will go have a look for those threads, maybe in C-section support... I will be back.

Hi squidipa,I?m just passing on some info, that my best friend gave me this year, after she had her second c-section,I`ve only had one c - section ,but 4 natural. Her ob told her he didn`t see why she couldn`t probably have 5,but no more than that, she went to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital,in Sydney, its a very good Hospital,i hope this helps, but i think from what my own Doctor told me,it really depends on the individual and scar tissue etc.......good luck with it all. (PS) back in my mum`s day, over 35 years now they only recommended having 2 c-sections,but that has changed.Have you got a good Doctor or ob you can discuss your concers with?
