The "I'm pregnant" feeling just after copulation

    Has anybody else felt it?

That feeling after you've DTD and you just "know" you've fallen pregnant.

Has your feeling been on the money?

No I'm not, was just talking to a mate's wife today about her pregnancy and she reminded me that she felt that feeling just after her & her DH had DTD, yes she was right on the money. Their daughter is now 12

Not right after DTD, but I was fairly certain I was pregnant with Amelia from a few days after she was conceived Ianto I had no conscious clue but still managed to test pretty much right on four weeks, so there must have been some idea of it in the back of my mind.

yes, with the twins I was in do doubt from a few moments after DTD. I also thought it might be twins as I felt myself ovulating twice but then I decided I was crazy and tried my best to bury the thought until a scan 19 weeks later forced me to accept it

The morning after DH and I DTD once, I told him that I was pregnant with a little girl. He was really pleased until he realised I was going on a feeling, and not a POAS and he'd have to wait for 2 weeks to see if I was right!

I was certainly right about being UTD, but we now have an 8 month old little man, not a little girl.

While I don't like being incorrect about *anything* we couldn't be happier with DS2

I was so sure he was a girl until I was about 12 weeks though, that I actually bought this gorgeous pink rug with an embroidered zebra, which came with a toy zebra ... and then after 12 weeks I started suspecting boy, and by around 22 weeks, I was so certain he was a boy we gave away the rug and toy.

    !

DS1 however, I didn't think I was pregnant, nor did our doctor, the blood tests, the sonographer, or the fertility specialist! I was about to go off on an event which could have involved a rather large amount of drinking (after I hadn't drunk anything in about a year, because we were TTC) and as a fleeting thought of "but what if ...?" (as I'd been nauseous for a couple of weeks) I decided to do a POASs just in case, before heading off with my bottle of champagne, and sure enough - two lines. Absolutely no idea. Made sense in hindsight, as I'd had m/s since a day and a half after conception, but I'd crazily assumed that a squadron of doctors, fertility specialists, ultrasound technicians etc would be able to notice that not only had I ovulated (they said I hadn't) but I was actually pregnant!

Yep. I knew with my last baby that I was pregnant straight after DTD. I told my husband that I was certain but he was skeptical. I was right! Lol.

Wow. No, no way. Nup. I'm kind of surprised and jealous so many people say yes, that's pretty cool really. But no, not here. Maybe I'm too sceptical, technically you cannot be pregnant straight after dtd anyway, but yeah, never had that feeling. Only feeling I'd have after dtd is an almost suffocating longing and anxiety, and the overwhelming urge to. not. move. a muscle. You know, in case the baby makers fell out

Isla was the cycle I gave up on, I tested to get the last FR out of the house. DD2 was a massive shock, but from maybe 3 weeks I was really off and realised a few days later I was pregnant. I knew it would be positive before I poas because I just felt so pregnant.

I didn't have that feeling but I think my body knew if that makes sense with dd1 she was conceived while were interstate at a concert, I had a really strong bourbon and threw it straight back up, go very early symptoms two weeks later. At the time we both thought it was strange for me to have that reaction to a drink I have all the time.

Yes, I think i've felt that 'Juiced Up' feeling (as my DP so un-eloquently refers to it as jokingly), and i've felt it i've said both times (whilst standing in the bathroom), "here comes another baby"
In saying all this, it's always just a motherly/womanly hunch....or knowing the reality of DTD

I had it with both DDs. Not so much a "Yep, totes preggers now baby!", but just a little voice that said, "This is different...think something may happen now".
Of course I didn't think much of it until afterwards, when you know for sure and I knew I was right, but with hindsight I can say that the only times I felt like *that* were with my girls.

With the twins, I had no idea until the MS started at about 3 weeks. That was hideous. Then I knew something was amiss.

Yes. We were away on holiday and had some afternoon fun then got up and had a shower to go out for dinner and as I looked at my reflection, I just was absolutely positive I had just gotten pregnant. I remember walking up the road with DH and thinking "I've got a secret". She is 10 now and that feeling is one of the strongest memories I have.
