'Spinning' techniques = did they work for you?

    Hi there,
After 8 weeks of head down bliss, my little 'angel' has decided to turn breech! lol

Was just wondering about the success rates of these 'spinning' techniques I have heard about?

I was planning on the whole hands and knees for 20 minutes, starting today.

Any helpful hints or insights greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Nicky

Hi there- I was using these techniques to get bub out of a posterior possie - and to no avail unfortunately, but I would recommend you check out the spinning babies site and this thread.

    Good luck!!!!

I would also suggest acupuncture. Chloe was breech and I had tried everything else, nothing worked, then finally acupuncture. She moved in the right direction, although unfortunately not far enough and I went into labour before my next session, but I think one more would have done it.

    Hi Squishee

When I was 28wks I had an ultrasound and my bubs was still in the breech position. This was on a thursday and the tuesday following I had an OB appointment.

A couple of hours before the appoinment I thought I'd try the hips up on a pillow thing while I was lying on my bed reading. Well I did this, but only for about 25 seconds as it was really uncomfy but low and behold when I went to the OB bub had turned head down! Amazing!

    So keep trying!
