Length of cervix-- alan???

I was told at my u/s today that the length of my cervix is only 2cm.

Does anyone know where I can find an average of cervical lengths at 33 weeks?

Junior is definitely breech by the way!

the radiographer didnt say anything as he "didnt remember what the average is for 33 weeks". So Ill have to wait until next week to see what my OB says

Your fine a cervix shortens obviously with the weight off bubs pressing down and eventually starting to dilate.
Cervix length starts at about 5cm and then as the pregnacy progresses and shortens to dilation during contractions.
When I had my stitch in they said not to worry about the length of the cervix after 30 weeks it is really only an issue 16-28 weeks. So to answer your question you are doing fantastic now turn you little monkey

2cm is ok. If it was down to 1.5cm I may want o check it again in about a week or two.
A normal cervix is somewhere between 2.5 and 5cm. Usually closer to 2.5cm
