Pregnancy massage stopped due to sudden wave of nausea?

One of my sisters bought me a pregnancy massage voucher at a day spa a few months ago, so today i decided to put it to good use.
Beautician was doing all those lovely things they do to your back....massaging. But when she got up near my shoulder blades i felt this sudden wave of nausea, my hands started to get sweaty and i felt a rush of blood to my face. I had to ask her to stop and get a drink of water.....ive never felt like this before. What happened? Did she touch a nerve? I know with acupunture, diff pressure points can make you feel queasy....but didnt think it would occur with massage.
Anyone else experienced this?

BTW i was on a proper preg massage table, felt fine all day (great infact) .......
