Low HCG level at 3-4 weeks pregnant, anyone else have this & have healthy pregnancy?

    Hi ladies,

As the title suggests, have any of you had low HCG levels and 3-4 weeks pregnant and continue on to have a happy and healthy pregnancy? My levels today were only 15 (really low) but my GP said it is still in the normal range. Am having another blood test on Wed to see if it doubles. Would like some opinions.

Honey, my hcg and prog were both considered very low. And my hcg didnt double in 48 or even 72 hrs... but all was fine. I did have a little bleeding on and off in the first tri. But bub was and is still perfectly ok.

Try to rest up and not stress about numbers too much. GL to you and your little bean!

Oh wow, congratulations! Try not to worry about the numbers so much at this stage, because they can be affected by when implantation happened too, so if that was a day or two later than average, it will put you behind a little - but it's still fine, it's just that a day or two can make a huge difference to such a small little thing.

At about 11 dpo, mine was 31. My next test 48 hours later was 140. At 5 weeks 5 days, I was 29,000! I am now 11 weeks 3 days and have had weekly scans since 6 weeks 5 days showing a healthy heartbeat, lots of movement and on target growth.

The hcg levels have to start somewhere, right? You are probably just really really early!

    Hi ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know that I had a follow up blood test and my levels hadn't risen and I have started to miscarry naturally today so hopefully it will be ok and no D&C. Thanks so much for all your input. Just wasn't meant to be. Hopefully next time we can give my DS a little brother or sister.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a feeling that's what was going to happen therefore did not post. I had a similar thing happen last year but the next pregnancy stuck. Best wishes for the future.

So sorry Nita. I've had that happen to me several times in the past and it's no fun. Please look after yourself.
