    Yes I did for DD1.

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done? I was excited with it being my first full term pregnancy and thought it would be a great way remember the special time. Also it was starting to become a bit of the in thing to do at the time.
    * What did you think about the experience? It was fun. I knew the photographer well as she had also done our wedding so felt really comfortable around her. We had quite a few laughs on the day. I was also happy to be directed by her as I figured she would know what worked best.
    * What did you think about the photos afterwards?Loved them and was really surprised considering how large I had gotten that she made me look elegant. Didn't love the shots with my head in them, preferred my belly/body only shots
    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos? I have one hanging in my room and one in DD1's room and I love how it reminds me of that anticipation of what our new family would be like. Also reminds me how young I was.
    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family?Not sure. It was great for me but I don't think it necessarily suits others.

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done? [I]It was my first pregnancy, and I was very excited and amazed at how my body could do this incredible and beautiful thing, without me even knowing how to grow a baby, and so I wanted to capture the wonder, the love and the difference between my normal body and my amazing pregnant body./I]
    * What did you think about the experience? We had a lot of fun in the shoots. My partner is a skilled amateur photographer, and he did all of my shots in three sessions. He helped me to feel beautiful, and gave great direction, which I know made a huge difference to how good the shots were.
    * What did you think about the photos afterwards?I got to see all of the bad ones as well, which was funny and slightly horrifying, but the good ones were fantastic - he captured a serenity and comfort I had in my body which I wan't really aware of until i saw the shots.
    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos?I will always remember that beautiful time in my life. And of course, for me, they were free.
    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family?Absolutely! I would have been happy to pay for the experience.

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done?
We had a long time photographer who had done out engagement and wedding and offered to do our pregnancy when she found out we were expecting

    * What did you think about the experience?
I loved it. Was very relaxed, but like said above, I was comfortable and confident with our photographer

    * What did you think about the photos afterwards?
Loved them. Still on display 7 years later

    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos?
Many people have seen mine and been inspired to get their own done, so that's kind of nice

    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family?
Yes I have several times over

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done? I wanted to be able to remember the joy of being pregnant and one day show my little munchkin hw big he made Mummy's tummy Also I think they look awesome.
    * What did you think about the experience? I really enjoyed having them done but wish I had looked at other peoples pics a little bit more so I knew what poses I liked.
    * What did you think about the photos afterwards? I love them!!
    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos? They are a once in a lifetime chance. You never get to repeat being pregnant with that particular child.
    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family? Absolutely
    * Other comments I recommend knowing what you like and what poses are must haves for you. My photographer wasn't very good at suggesting things so I had to know what I wanted.

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done? I didn't have it done for my first pregnancy, so the second time round I wanted to make sure I didn't end up having no visual reminders of being pregnant. I loved being pregnant and it is such a special time, so I wanted to do something nice we could keep forever.

    * What did you think about the experience? The experience was good, I had an old school friend do the photos so felt pretty comfortable with her.

    * What did you think about the photos afterwards? Now that I am more experienced in photography, I am not all that happy with them If I had my time again I would have done more research into photographers and not cared so much about the money (or more so, worried about DF not wanting to spend the money!) I'm definitely still glad we have them though and still have a couple displayed in the house.

    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos? They bring back happy memories of being pregnant like feeling the baby's movements. Also makes me think of the awesome birth that followed

    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family? Most definitely! You can't get that time back, so if maternity photography is something you've considered even once, go and get it done! You don't want to regret it in the future.

Why did you get pregnancy photography done? After LTTTC and HG I envisioned that that pregnancy may be my only one and I wanted to be able to do something special to remember how I looked, capture that moment and have in years to come. photos that didnt look like I was grey or green and sickly. Well less like that anyway

What did you think about the experience? I threw up between photos, the studio was hot and I was faint and dizzy. We were a last minute booking and there was only a male photographer who was obviously slightly uncomfortable and asked for 'poses' that I certainly could not pull off! It wasnt a super plesant experience for me but I hope the photos would be worth it.

What did you think about the photos afterwards? We absolutely LOVED them!!! Some looked awkward so we clearly opted not to buy those but we have some that are just amazing!

What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos? I (almost) dont look sick, I can look at them and remember exactly what it was like having my DD in there and she is intrigued that she was in there

Would you recommend it to your friends/family? Absolutely!

Pregnancy photography! Have you had a photography session?

    * Why did you get pregnancy photography done?
Pregnancy is something to be celebrated its a special time in our lives, one that may only be given to us once so I wanted to remember how I looked pregnant. I also wanted to have a record of how DH tenderly touched my stomach, it's a lovely way to involve Dads a bit more in the pregnancy process.
    * What did you think about the experience?
At the time of doing the photos I was a pregnant sweaty mess (as it was January) & was a tiny bit worried I would look hideous. The photographer was lovely and mad us feel totally at ease.
    * What did you think about the photos afterwards?
We adore them and display our favourites proudly around our home. I look at them everyday with affection.
    * What is the best thing about your pregnancy photos?
The photographer managed to capture how we felt. In love, excited, content and full of hope.
    * Would you recommend it to your friends/family?
    Most definitely.

I'm not a fan of in studio photos, we went to a beautiful river bed and green grassy areas. Very natural.

I got a maternity shoot done because I wanted a lasting memory of the pregnancy and what I looked like and so my daughter could see pictures of when she was in my tummy. I always wished mum had photos of her when she was pregnant with me.
It was an amazing experience because I have honestly never felt more beautiful than I did when I was pregnant. The photos turned out amazing and I will do it again with any more children.
I would definitely recommend the experience to friends and family.
