    Aww...you poor love .

It's hard to tell the difference sometimes, but I'm guessing that because you have the runs that it may be gastro? There is a bout of it going around atm.

Lots of fluids and rest for you and if you really are feeling terrible, make sure you go see your GP .

    Jols.

I had gastro in early PG this time and dismissed it as MS until I'd been at it for longer than a day. It makes you really tired too so try to rest up if you can.

AJP - sorry you are feeling this way. Trust me I know, I had a really bad case of gastro about week 24 - I was just about hospitalised for dehydration

I rang my OB office after I had the runs for about 36 hours and the MW advised me to come in to be on the safe side. Turns out (after waiting nearly 2 hours to see him grrr not happy jan) that there was nothing really he could do, he checked bub and he was fine just told me to try and keep my fluid intake up and get plenty of rest.

All up I had it for 7 days, OMG it was horrible, it is bad enough having it normally let alone when you are pregnant too! I would be on the loo every 10 minutes no joke, couldnt hold anything down; as soon as I'd eat it would come back up again!

I found a product at the chemist called 'gastrolyte' which is an electrolyte drink (can get it in different flavours). If you find you are struggling to drink I found that helped.

Keep an eye on it - hope you feel better soon hun!
