Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but I wanted to find some opinions on what to look for in a new apartment in terms of what's best with a baby - the place we're in right now is too small, and we have to move.
The things we want are a bathroom with a bath, internal laundry and at least a second bedroom, if not three. The area we live in has a lot of three or four-storey walk-ups and if we hold out for a ground floor apartment or a building with a lift, we may not find anything before my due date!
Does anyone have any advice about living with a new baby on the first or second floor in a walk-up (or are we mad to even consider it?), and any suggestions on what else we should be searching for in a good apartment?
Don't get anything with no lift! Or not on the ground floor. You have to cart so much stuff around when you have a newborn/baby.....not to mention when you do grocery shopping by yourself etc etc. GL!
