    Marscopone Cheese

    Are we allowed to eat Marscopone Cheese and Cream Cheese???

    Yes. you are allowed to eat all cheese if it's been pasturised, and most australian cheeses are (if not all). So youcan eat brie etc. The only thing to avoid would be the ricotta and other stuff in the deli section that is just left in the open. But packaged stuff is fine xo

    It can get confusing hey! From what I can tell, pasturised cheeses are okay, but you have to be careful where it's been before you eat it..
    Like, if you've just unwrapped it, it's okay, but if it's been left in the fridge or it's at a party, better to leave it alone, because that soft cheesy environment is so good for growing the listeria bacteria.
    So if you're not sure if it's safe/fresh then leave it be, but I think it can be safe if it's just been opened.
    Hope I'm not leading anyone astray here, I did some homework and that's the conclusion I came to!
