I dont think anybody ever told me how special pregnancy is, I am already amazed at the strange things going on inside my belly. But now I am starting to think this baby wants out! I am almost 26 weeks, and for about an hour tonight it feels like bub is scraping a hole in the uterus, trying to make a way out :S
It's an awesome feeling when bub moves around, but its starting to hurt and Im scared bub is going to pop a hole in the sack..
Sounds rather silly now that I write it out and read it back, lol. I guess I just need a bit of reassurance.
I was told that the placenta is on the front so I wouldn't be able to feel bub move around as much, but If I felt it more, I would pretty much be holding bubs hand. And considering bub is still under a kilo, well in a month or 2 is bub going to be stronger? I feel like I am being beat up inside out!
Dh no longer needs to put his hand on my belly to feel bub, all he does is stare at my belly and watch bub moving around.
Pregnancy surely is completely not what I expected, but definantly not in a bad way. I just cant wait to meet bub, and Im starting to feel that the feeling is mutual.
Oooh, I remember when Liebling used to do that - at about the same stage. There's enough room to move around in there (just!) and it's so cute to make out a little hand or a little foot trying to escape from the belly. I could watch that all the time.
I remember these kind of sensations too - and I remember being pretty weirded out by them! DH used to watch the rolling of my tummy from across the room - if they used to freak me out then they certainly do now ha ha
Have you felt anything on your cervix yet? That was the weirdest for me and I thought bub was trying to get out - it was like a pulse deep in my bottom driving to work at the time too!
My placenta was right at the front too, and I was told the same thing, but felt alot of movement from word go, and I think it was around 25ish weeks at a scan my Ob said it had moved up and to the right, hence being able to feel heaps more.
Yeah I think I've felt the movements around my cervix too.. they are weird! If bub isnt trying to scrape a big hole in my uterus, my bladder seems to make a good trampoline. Glad to hear its all normal, but nobody can tell you just how weird it actually is!
I'm only a couple of days behind you on the pregnancy train & I'm feeling very much the same!!!! It is very much normal, and no matter how rough your little one is, there isn't really any damage they can do.... With Gaby, my placenta was anterior/on the front & this time it is posterior/on the back & the movements are a lot stronger!
Hi, just thought I would say congratulations. The movements when pregnant are so amazing. I remember feeling like DD was trying to escape out of my belly button. Then at about 33 weeks when she was already head down she use to like kicking my ribs and always on the right side. I actually had bruising come through and was told that I probably had bruised ribs. DD is still so active, walking already at 9 and a bit months. All that kicking was to strengthen her legs so she could start walking as soon as possible I think.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy what your bubs, I really missed the feelings for a while after DD was born. Now I am really looking forward to feeling Bubs #2.
yup it's normal darl, and bubs wont pop anything Sometimes it feels like Levi is pulling on my belly button from the inside and I hate it!! It's getting more cramped in there, so their movements become more forceful now. Do enjoy it, because once bubs is out you will miss feeling them in your tum
I have that exact same feeling in my cervix, and I did with DS too....it's like they are scraping it with a nail, or letting off some sort of electronic device on your cervix from the inside! It's like buzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!! A very strange sensation....but a cool one all the same.
Pregnancy is a very amazing thing, and your baby certainly won't pop anything, even though it can feel so rough at times
Maybe you should video tape your belly moving so you can remember it FOREVER! I'm going to do that!
