I was just wondering if any of you have used any good old wives tales to predict the gender of your bub? and was it succesful?
according to the heart rate one i am having a girl as all but the 6 week scan had a hb over 140... however due to my skin being dry not pretty and soft its a boy...

it was right with DD, we'll see in november if it's right with #2

I love old wives tales.

There's one which has to do with the way you carry the baby. If it's all around it's a boy or straight out in front is a girl....or maybe I have it round the wrong way.

They're old wives tales for a reason!! If it was true then you could rely on them. IN saying that I love doing all the silly tests on the net to see what we're having - even if they are the most bizarre questions!

The wedding ring over belly, chinese pg calendar, baby's HB at 6wks (162bpm) predicted I was pg with a girl. Found out at the 20wk scan it was a boy.

The day before my 20 week scan I went through a huge list of wives tales and we tallied them all up and girl was the winner and it was right

I just checked the Chinese Pregnancy Calendar, and it says I'm having a boy, which according to both of my ultrasounds is correct (Fingers crossed, becuase I already have boy-clothes... hehe)
